Welcome to Micro-DayPlanner, a simplified version of my Franklin Planner replacement software I’ve been working on in my currently five-part blog series, which can be found on the ‘Article Series Listing‘ page of my site
This is version 1.6 of the Mac build, the Linux version is currently on version 2.3.7 [with extra features] and I’ve yet to share this as I want to focus on getting it more feature complete but with people returning to school I feel this local distraction free option might be what some people need.
This app is strictly for the Apple Silicon version while I fix some of the larger issues I had in the software.
On first run the user gets “cannot be opened because the developer cannot be verified” or “Apple could not verify… is free of malware” (Sequoia/Tahoe made this worse — the old right-click → Open bypass is gone; users must go to System Settings → Privacy & Security → Open Anyway. [the reason for this I am still actively getting funds together to cover costs like Apple Developer Licence]
